These animals are not available for adoption, and our goal is to reunite animals with their family as soon as possible. It is essential that Ruthless Kindness animals are not posted on social media or publicized anywhere, and that the identity of the owner and animal are kept private. Fostering for Ruthless Kindness may involve an unknown end date, and animals may need foster care longer or shorter than expected. This does not obligate you to lengthen your commitment if you’re unable to, however, in the spirit of supporting people going through challenges, it must be understood that the person’s circumstances may change unexpectedly. This means they may reclaim their animals sooner than expected, or may ask for more time in foster. Also in the spirit of supporting our clients while they navigate hardship, we expect fosters to show compassion regardless of an animal’s appearance, health, spay/neuter status, or other qualities, trusting that Ruthless Kindness will provide the care and supplies needed for the animal’s welfare. Sharing a medical concern that we may not know about is of course welcome.
